About Me

I am passionate about what I do. I believe that health is so important. Good health allows us to enjoy our lives and gives us the energy to do all the things we want to do. Being healthy allows us to enjoy our family and helps us succeed in our professions. Without good health, it is easy to end up frustrated, depressed and unfulfilled. In a world of endless and confusing information on health, it is all too easy to get lost in. We are constantly bombarded with fads and conflicting information. Often, a person doesn't know which diet to choose, or has tried so many without success. Other times, our doctors tell us information that we believe to be gospel, mainly because we don't know that there are other options available to us. It is my goal as a practitioner to guide each and every patient on the road to better health, which ultimately leads to a more enjoyable and fulfilling life. I strive to educate my patients and teach them to be an active participant in their health. It is my desire to make each person who walks into my office feel comfortable. I want them to know that they are in good hands and I will always do the best I possibly can for them.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Brooklyn College and went on to receive my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions. I have studied with world-reknown acupuncturists. I also attended the Zhejiang International Exchange Center of TCM Clinical Practice in Hangzhou, China. I am certified in acupuncture facial rejuvenation. Additionally, female health issues are very near and dear to my heart, especially fertility issues, and I have specialized training in these areas. I incorporate different styles of acupuncture into my treatments. My treatments are both gentle and relaxing.
